Rules & Conditions

The ID Card is available to individuals registered on their agency's IATAN Personnel List, which serves as the official record of their association with an IATAN-accredited agency. Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to ensure the continued integrity and industry recognition of the IATAN ID Card program.

  • Owners, employees, or independent contractors at a travel agency with a valid IATA Code
  • Be registered on the Agency Personnel List
  • Work at least 20 hours per week in the travel sales business
  • Earn a minimum of USD 5,000 in salary and/or commissions in the past 12 months
  • Be at least 18 years old

A note for all applicants, a false declaration in the ID Card Application will result in blacklisting and cancellation of the ID Card.
