ID Card Directory of Industry Supplier

While suppliers who participate in the IATA/IATAN ID Card program are varied and diverse, they all have one thing in common. They recognize the value of the ID Card Program as a fast and convenient way to verify an individual's credentials. That is why more than 18,000 suppliers, which include airlines, cruise lines, car rental companies, tour operators, hotels and resorts, rely on the ID Card as a method of identifying bona fide travel professionals who may qualify for reduced rates or other industry concessions. The Delta and US Air Shuttles, for example, both allow IATA/IATAN ID Cardholders to travel any of their shuttle routes, space available, for $40 one way. Universal Studios provides a complimentary entry to their theme parks for agents, as does the Intrepid Sea-Air Space Museum. Opryland USA, the San Diego Zoo, Hershey Park and many other theme parks also offer discounts to agents holding the ID Card.

It is important for agents to remember that industry discounts are a privilege and not a right. IATAN does not determine reduced fare offers or discount policies of travel industry suppliers. Each supplier establishes its own policy and procedures on an individual basis.
