IATA/IATAN ID Card

How do I order my first IATA/IATAN ID Card?

Once the registration process is completed, and if you are eligible, an email is automatically sent to you, which gives you information on how to order your ID Card using IATAN’s Online Services

How do I renew my IATA/IATAN ID Card?

IATAN will notify you in writing. However, feel free to renew your ID Card up to two months prior to its expiration using IATAN’s Online Services

How quickly will my order be processed?

Using IATAN’s Online Services, your order will be processed within 2 working days. If you mail in applications, it can take 4 to 6 weeks before your request can be processed.

What is the validity of the IATA/IATAN ID Card?

ID Cards are valid for a one year period. You can order your ID Card using IATAN’s Online Services Order your ID Card today.

Is OSSN’s TRUE ID the same as an IATA / IATAN ID Card?

No. OSSN’s TRUE ID cards are not associated with IATA / IATAN codes or ID Cards. They are simply membership cards and numbers created by OSSN that have no connectionto IATA / IATAN’s Global Travel Agent Accreditation Program. In addition, OSSN’s codes are not recognized by IATA/IATAN’s Global CheckACode system.

My personal information has changed and my IATA/IATAN ID Card needs to be updated?

Ask the Owner or Account Administrator to use IATAN’s Online Services to amend your details. At the same time they can replace your ID Card with the updated information. The fee is $25.00 and the replaced card keeps the same expiration date as your current ID Card.

I have lost my IATA/IATAN ID Card – My IATA/IATAN ID Card has been stolen?

Use IATAN’s Online Services and request a Re-issue ID Card. The fee, as the card will be for one year from reissue, is $30.00 or you can request a replacement ID Card with the same expiration date for $25.00.

As an Independent Contractor, do my yearly earnings have to come solely from the accredited location where I am registered?

No, it is understood that you may have dealings with other travel businesses or suppliers. IATAN does recognize and accepts proof of earning from other accredited locations.

Are CTD/CCL employees entitled to the IATA/IATAN ID Card?

Yes, the ID Card is available to all registered employees. Order your ID Card online today!

What do I do when staff leaves?

It is important that IATAN is notified as soon as this happens. Use IATAN’s Online Services to remove them from your IATAN Personnel List. It is also very important that you pick up their IATA/IATAN ID Card, as the card will be invalid as the person no longer works or represents your company.
